CANADA VISA PHOTO SIZE REQUIREMENTS

Permanent Resident Card Photo Specifications for Canada:

• Size: 50 mm wide x 70 mm high
• Face Height: The height of the face should measure between 32 mm and 36 mm from the chin to the crown of the head (natural top of the head).
• Expression: Neutral facial expression (eyes open and visible, mouth closed, no smile).
• Lighting: Uniform lighting without shadows, contrast, glare, or flash reflections.
• Background: Plain and white background with a clear difference between your face and the background (avoid white clothing).
• Skin Tones: Photos must reflect the natural tones of skin.
• Originality: Photos must be original and not altered in any way.
• Printing: Professionally printed on plain, high-quality photographic paper.
• Information on Back: The back of one photo must include the applicant’s name, date of birth, the name and complete address of the photography studio, and the date the photograph was taken.

The frame size should be 35 mm x 45 mm borderless for Temporary or Student Visa application

For digital purposes:

The canvas size needs 420x540 pixels, in colour (RGB format), and a clear, sharp image.
File size should be between 240 KB and 4 MB.
